Ingredients:
20 to 25 Key limes (or 10-15 limes)
8 cups of water (1 of the cups needs to be warm)
1 cup of sugar (restaurant sweet use 1 3/4 cups of sugar)
Pinch of salt
Lots of ice
Instructions:
Squeeze enough key limes to obtain 1 cup of lime juice.
In a pitcher, combine 1 cup of warm water and 1 cup of sugar. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. 3. Add the lime juice to the sugar water mixture and continue stirring for another minute.
Once the sugar is fully dissolved, add 7 cups of water to the pitcher.
Add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness and mix well.
Serve the Mexican lemonade chilled over ice.
